If You Made it All The Way Back Here: Congratulations!

The date that I’m writing this is July 4, 2023 and I’ve FINALLY transferred all of the old posts I made to this new site. Fitting that it happened on Independence Day as I’m now free from devoting a half hour each day to cutting, pasting, posting and doing minor revisions on the thousands of posts I’ve made about comics over the last fifteen years. However, if anyone has been interested in what I’ve written over that period to make it all the way back here, then your interest has been greatly appreciate.

If you want to keep the party going, the reason this post is dated 6/3/08 is because it’s the date that the very first “Comic Picks by the Glick” podcast went up over at Podbean. You can check it out the link here. All of this writing I’ve done about comics initially started as a means to keep the audience from the podcast engaged after we shifted to a bi-weekly schedule, but things quickly spiraled out from there. The four hundred (and counting) previous podcasts I’ve done with John (and friends) are still there. So if you’re looking for even more of my thoughts about comics, consider checking those out. If you start from the first one, I can even promise that things will get better from there!
